Elecciones repetidas de Pachakutik será con tres listas de candidatos

Jorge Herrera, Cecilia Velázque y Guillermo Churuchumbi son quienes el 9 de noviembre buscarán ganar la coordinación nacional de Pachakutik.

La resolución del Tribunal Contencioso Electoral (TCE) del 5 de octubre de 2023, fue claro, dispuso que en el término de 15 días (laborables), el Tribunal Electoral del Movimiento Pachakutik «repita» el proceso eleccionario para designar al nuevo coordinador nacional de esta organización política.

Todo luego del fracasado proceso de elecciones realizado en Puyo-Pastaza el 29 de abril del año en curso. Igualmente, deberán constar las listas anteriores de candidatos encabezados por: Guillermo Churuchumbi, líder de la lista A; Cecilia Velázque, la lista B; y Jorge Herrera, la lista C.

Jorge Herrera, en entrevista en Nina Radio 104.7 F. M. de Puyo, aclaró que debido a la diversidad de personas que integran su lista de candidatos ha determinado que si participará en las elecciones, esto luego de que Marlon Santi, coordinador actual de Pachakutik anticipara que Herrera declinaría su candidatura.

De acuerdo a la resolución del Tribunal Electoral de Pachakutik, las elecciones se cumplirá el 09 de noviembre del 2023, los adherentes en un número de 40 personas legalmente empadronadas en cada provincia acudirán hasta las delegaciones provinciales del Consejo Nacional Electoral para entregar su voto al candidato de su preferencia.

 

Jorge Herrera, quien fue presidente de la Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador (Conaie), asegura que en las elecciones pasadas el padrón fue viciado y no permitieron un proceso democrático libre, hoy anuncia que su lista de candidatos es participativa, que están preparados y han cumplido con todos los requisitos para postularse.

“Invitamos a los adherentes a cumplir su deber cívico y acudan a sufragar, analicen las propuestas, no voten por las personas, sino que piensen en sostener el movimiento (…) No es justo que en Pachakutik, siga el continuismo…..No queremos que venga el Correismo…. Es hora de cambiar la dirección de Pachakutik”, expresó Herrera, como parte de su corta campaña.
