Autoridades del CNE-Pastaza en la inauguración de las elecciones presidenciales del 15 de octubre invitaron a la ciudadanía a sufragar.
En la provincia de Pastaza, sufragarán 79.873 ciudadanos empadronados; existen 333 recintos electorales; 2331 integrantes de las juntas receptoras del voto. La seguridad uniformada está integrada por 497 militares de la Brigada Pastaza y 491 elementos de la Policía Nacional.
Una vez más el auditórium de la Universidad Estatal Amazónica fue el escenario para inaugurar las elecciones presidenciales del 15 de octubre de 2023, pocas autoridades seccionales e invitados estuvieron presentes.
Los jefes de la Policía Nacional y de la Brigada Pastaza acantonados en esta jurisdicción y partícipes de la inauguración informaron que han desplegado todo su contingente humano y logístico; Jorge Paguay gobernador de Pastaza, aseguró que todo está planificado y coordinado con el propósito de garantizar la seguridad del evento democrático.
Martha Cox, directora del Consejo Nacional Electoral Pastaza y Saraí Tamayo, presidenta de la Junta Provincial Electoral, con discursos muy similares a las que emitieron el 20 de agosto cuando fue la primera vuelta electoral, coincidieron en que este 15 de octubre es un “día histórico”.
Las dos principales autoridades del CNE provincial luego de agradecer a las autoridades por el apoyo recibido, invitaron a la ciudadanía a que acudan a sufragar con la esperanza de buscar el cambio que el país requiere.
Los diferentes recintos electorales instalados en Puyo, a la hora determinada (07:00) su ubicaron sin contratiempos y con la presencia completa de los integrantes de las juntas receptoras del voto, con el pasar de las horas los votantes acudían a los recintos y en un tiempo máximo de 2 minutos cumplían su obligación de sufragar.
